Year 8 and 10 boys win first tennis fixture of the season v St Clements. Year 8 winning all 6 games and Year 10 winning 4-2 on games. Well done to; Thomas Bailey, Archie Rayner, Finlay Hewson, Cameron Raven, Ethan Moffat, Josh Whitaker, Alex Champion & Luke Newstead.

 

30 Able, Gifted and Talented PE students from years 9, 10 and 11 visited Loughborough University for an introduction into university life at one of the UK's leading sporting institutions.

 

The AGT PE students were then treated with a talk from an elite basketball player and were intrigued to find out more on the every day schedule of such a talented individual. Students were then involved in a sports nutrition workshop and also took part in some fitness testing focusing on speed and power.

U14 boys football team lose out to Lynn Grove for a place in the county cup final

 

U14 girls 9 a-side football team finish 4th at Fakenham Town FC involving 8 schools.

 

U16 girls 9 a-side football team finish 3rd at Fakenham Town FC involving 6 schools.

 

Year 7 girls win silver medals at the sportshall athletics school games finals. Year 7 boys finishing 4th in their competition.

 

Kate Willis (Yr7) win silver in indoor rowing at school games finals. Jolyon Fitter (Yr7) finishing 4th.

 

Alderman Peel beat Aylsham, Cromer, North Walsham & Stalham high schools to win overall results at the recent Sportshall Athletics competition for Years 7 & 8. Individual results are as follows;

 

- Year 7 Girls win North Norfolk Sportshall Athletics partnership event

- Year 7 Boys win North Norfolk Sportshall Athletics partnership event

- Year 8 Girls finish runners-up in North Norfolk Sportshall Athletics partnership event

- Year 8 Boys finish 3rd North Norfolk Sportshall Athletics partnership event

 

- U16 Rugby boys lose out to Downham Market for a place in their third successive plate final.

 

- Kate Willis (Year 7) finishes 2nd in the Norfolk County Cross Country finals in Norwich. Georgina Bowett and Scott Greenaway (both Year 10) finish 10th in their respective races.Kate Willis won the 90cm arena eventing for APHS.

 

U14 boys through to semi-finals of the football county cup after beating Taverham 4 - 2 on penalties after a 0 - 0 draw. Man of the match - Connor Rumbles

 

U14 girls win round two of 5a-side tournament. Results include;

2-0 win v Northgate 2

3-0 win v Northgate 1
